Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 31, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Adport (“Adport”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit getadport.com (the “Site”) or contact us. It also explains, in “How our products handle data” below, how our AI Screen and Sensor Box products process audience data — because that approach is central to how we operate.
Our advertising platform and any account you may hold at app.getadport.com are governed by the separate agreement you accept there. This policy covers the marketing website and our direct communications with you.
1. Who we are
Adport provides real-time, on-device audience intelligence for out-of-home advertising. For the purposes of data protection law, Adport is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at contact@getadport.com or at 500 5th Ave, New York, NY 10110, United States.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit our contact form or email us, we collect the details you provide, which may include:
- Your name and email address;
- Your phone number and company name (if you choose to provide them);
- The type of inquiry (for example, advertiser, screen operator, or partner) and the product you’re interested in; and
- The contents of your message.
Information we collect automatically
When you visit the Site, our servers and, with your consent, our analytics tools may collect:
- Technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device and operating system, and referring pages;
- Usage data such as the pages you view, links you click, and the dates and times of your visits; and
- Approximate location derived from your IP address.
We use cookies and similar technologies to collect some of this information. Non-essential cookies (analytics and marketing) are only set after you accept them via our cookie banner. See our Cookie Policy for details.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiries, schedule demos, and discuss pilots and partnerships;
- To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Site;
- To measure and understand how the Site is used (with your consent), so we can improve it;
- To send you a confirmation that we received your message, and to follow up about your request;
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues; and
- To comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.
4. Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Consent — for analytics and marketing cookies and for any marketing emails. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests — to respond to your inquiries, operate and secure the Site, and understand our audience, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Legal obligation — where we must process information to comply with the law.
5. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described here:
- Service providers who process information on our behalf — for example email delivery, website hosting, content delivery, and analytics providers — under contracts that require them to protect it.
- Analytics and advertising partners (such as Google and Meta), only where you have consented to the relevant cookies. Using these tools may involve sharing online identifiers for measurement and, where enabled, advertising. You can opt out via our cookie banner.
- Legal and safety reasons — to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect our rights, users, and the public.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
6. Third-party services we use
- Google Analytics — website analytics (loaded only after consent). See Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Meta Pixel — advertising measurement, where enabled and only after consent. See Meta’s Privacy Policy.
- Hosting, CDN, and content — used to deliver the Site and our blog content.
7. Data retention
We keep the information you submit for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and our relationship with you, and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping, legal, and security purposes. Analytics data is retained according to the settings and policies of the relevant provider. We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed.
8. International data transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where we transfer personal information from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights:
EEA / UK (GDPR)
- Access, correct, update, or request deletion of your personal information;
- Restrict or object to our processing, and request portability of your data;
- Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing); and
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California (CCPA/CPRA)
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose;
- Request deletion or correction of your personal information;
- Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (we do not sell your information; “sharing” for cross-context advertising only occurs through consented advertising cookies, which you can decline); and
- Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@getadport.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law.
10. Data security
We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk to protect personal information, including access controls and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. How our products handle data
Privacy is built into our hardware. Our AI Screen and Sensor Box analyze their surroundings to measure audiences, and they are designed so that:
- All processing happens on the device. No images or video streams are sent to the cloud.
- No faces are stored and we do not perform facial recognition.
- No individuals are identified. The devices produce only aggregate, statistical data — such as counts, age-range and gender distributions, attention, and dwell time.
Because the devices produce aggregate statistics rather than identifying individuals, passers-by are not personally tracked. This approach is designed to meet European (GDPR) privacy standards by architecture.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
14. Contact us
